[UPDATED] Our Response to the COVID-19 Outbreak
April 6th, 2020 UPDATE Pathway To Hope is doing the following in response to the Emergency Orders from Johnson County Health Officer on COVID-19:
After a thorough review of the Emergency Order, we are making the following changes to our services:
Clubhouse will be closed for the remainder of the stay at home order, however long that might be. Staff will remain in place (with appropriate CDC precautions in place), checking in with members daily via phone, providing video conference meetings and making sure that our members have what they need to maintain their wellness during this time.
Support Groups
- Our in person groups were suspended last week and will remain that way through the balance of this Emergency Order.
- We are offering Virtual Groups for families and caregivers each week on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. AND on Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. for Individuals living with mental illness. (Pre-registration is required – a zoom link will be sent to the email on the pre-registration at least one hour before the start of the meeting.)

Our office is Closed
- Our Executive Director is working from home.
- Our Board and Committee meetings will be held virtually.
- We will be checking voicemail and responding as quickly as possible.
What we are asking of you:
- Stay safe • Stay home
- If it is necessary to go out, practice all of the recommendations of the CDC.
- If you need something essential that you cannot get on your own, please contact us. clubhouse@pathwaytohope.org or pth@pathwaytohope.org or through our social media channels.
How to manage the stress of COVID-19
- Create a daily schedule and follow it.
- Use the resources you have to make appropriate social connections.
- Step back from social media and news outlets when the information gets overwhelming.
- Engage in hobbies and physical activity.
- Speak to your medical provider about ways to manage your personal risk.
- And, find ways to engage in mindful breathing each hour.
