From the day she arrived on site to lead Pathway To Hope, our current Executive Director has been planning to leave. You couldn’t tell that based on the what has been accomplished! She recently told us that she’s never stayed longer than 4 years at any one job. Her start at Pathway To Hope was 9 1/2 years ago. After the very challenging year we all experienced in 2020 with the pandemic, Kiersten asked us to begin succession planning. In the meantime, her commitment has not wavered as we’ve actively moved forward with our plans to expand services and bring the much needed peer support services to the community.

The Board of Directors has worked very carefully with Kiersten during this period to clearly identify the qualities of the next executive director and we are pleased to announce that the search for Kiersten’s replacement is actively underway through a board appointed hiring committee. Kiersten has agreed to support the transition through June 2023 (the end of our fiscal year) and we will continue evaluate it to assure a smooth transition for continued future success for those we serve. Our hope is to be able to announce a new executive director in the fourth quarter. We are excited to see what the future holds and believe we can move confidently into that future!

[UPDATED JAN 2023] We did not hire at the end of 2022 and Kiersten is remaining onboard with us as Executive Director through June 2023. The Board of Directors meets on Jan. 16th to initiate the E.D. Hiring process once again. We expected they will put the process in motion as soon as possible. Check back for updates.
