2019 Founder’s Award Finalists

We are pleased to announce the 2019 Founder’s Award Finalists. The community was invited to submit nominations over the past three months. Our Founder’s Award Committee was looking for individuals who embody “dedication and devotion
to serving individuals and families facing mental illness.” Founder, Sharon Lawrenz said, “I think we’ve found that in these four finalists!” Executive Director, Kiersten Adkins stated, “We are ever grateful for partners in the community that care for the mental health concerns and work tirelessly to address these needs. It’s an honor to recognize these finalists for their good work!”

This year’s finalists include:
• Will Gurley – Founder of the You Matter Festival
• Jennifer Savner Levinson – Community Outreach Facilitator for SPEAK UP
• Sharon Rodriguez – Photographer
• Sgt. Gary L. Walker, USAF (Ret) – CEO & Artist
