Sharon Lawrenz

Sharon
survived the trauma of her son’s mental health problems. She learned to cope with her own mental health. Strength over
pathology prevailed in Sharon’s life.
And that’s how she guides the agency today – building better lives
for those suffering with mental illness; strengthening distraught families; providing emotional health check-ups.
Sharon’s training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Human
Relations from Mid-America Nazarene University;
- Volunteer positions including Sunday School
Superintendent; President of a local Christian Woman’s Club; State President of a Denomination’s Woman’s
group;
- Worked in office settings and as a paraprofessional with behavior disordered children
in a local middle school
- Speaker and trainer.
Sharon combines
her experiences, faith, and humor to present compassionate, hope-filled messages to those whose lives have been touched
by mental illness.
